Frequently asked questions
-
How big are the greeting cards?
All Samun Arts greetings cards are A2 size (4.25 x 5.5 inches).
-
Can I get a greeting card design in a size bigger than a2 (4.25x5.5 inches)?
Unfortunately, I am unable to accomodate larger card sizes.
However, if you do love a card design and don’t see a readily available print in my shop, send me a message, and I can custom print a design for you on either 5x7 or 8x10 premium paper.
-
Do greeting cards come with envelopes?
Yes!
All greeting cards include one cream colored envelope.
-
I love a greeting card design, but I don't see it available as an art print? Can I still get it?
If you see a card design that you absolutely love, but want it as a fine art print instead, please send me a message!
Nearly all card designs can be turned into art prints. Just note that depending on the size of the print you request (5x7 or 8x10), there may be slight sizing differences than what you see on the original greeting card design - to account for the difference in paper size.
-
What kind of paper is used for the greeting cards and art prints?
All greeting cards are printed on premium-quality, 60lb linen-textured paper. Note that the linen texture is just on the exterior of the card, leaving the inside blank and smooth, ready for your own personalized note!
All art prints are printed on archival-quality, 60lb bright white, matte paper.

What is your process for making your art?
All of the artwork you see on this website originally started as a painting (mostly watercolor, but you’ll find some acrylic paintings mainly in the art print section).
Once I complete my paintings, I scan them, so I can store/edit them in a digital format. From there, I do very minor digital editing to ensure the lighting and colors are as close to the original as possible. From there, I am able to reproduce my original paintings for either greeting cards or fine art prints.
